Strawberry & Red Currant Flavoured Green Tea
A sip of Japanese garden freshness
This tea blends four Japanese green teas with sweet strawberries and tangy red currants. A delicate balance of fruity notes and toasted rice — light, refreshing, and elegant.
What makes this tea special?
• Blend of Sencha, Bancha, Genmaicha (with rice), and Kukicha
• Real strawberry and red currant pieces
• Nutty hint of toasted rice from Genmaicha
Flavour and aroma:
A fresh and grassy base with a burst of sweet and tangy berries. Toasted rice adds a warm, slightly nutty depth.
Brewing method:
1 tsp per 200 ml water
Water temperature: 75–80°C
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Can be re-steeped
Summer recipes:
Iced Tea “Berry Garden”
2 tsp tea
400 ml hot water
Cool down, add ice and berries
Serve with fresh mint
❄️ Cold Brew “Summer Breeze”
1.5–2 tbsp tea
1 litre cold water
Infuse for 6–10 hours
Serve with lemon or lime
Sip, close your eyes — and travel far.
Good to know:
• Contains natural caffeine (theine)
• Suitable for morning and daytime
• Contains real berries
• Can be re-steeped
• Not recommended in the evening if sensitive to caffeine
Brewing tip:
To get a more intense flavour, do not increase steeping time or water temperature. Instead, add a bit more tea.
Optimal steeping time is 2 minutes to unlock flavour without bitterness.
Strain or remove tea leaves immediately after brewing.
