This recipe is all about freshness, simplicity, and tropical mood. Perfect for hot days or slow coffee mornings on the balcony.
You will need:- Ground coffee (any variety you like) – 1 tbsp
- Cold water – 500 ml
- Shredded coconut – 2 tbsp
- Hot water – 200 ml
- Ice
- Orange or lime zest for garnish (optional)
1. Brew the coffee cold
Place ground coffee in a jar and add 500 ml of cold water. Stir, cover and let steep in the fridge for 8–12 hours. Then strain.
2. Make coconut milk
Pour hot water over shredded coconut, let it steep for 15–20 minutes. Blend and strain — now you have natural coconut milk!
3. Decorate the glass
Wet the rim and dip it into shredded coconut for a frosty, tropical touch.
4. Assemble the drink
Fill the glass with ice. Pour in cold brew coffee, then slowly add coconut milk.
Garnish with zest or mint, add a straw — and enjoy every sip
This is more than just coffee — it's a moment of summer in a glass. Easy to make, beautiful to serve, and perfect for a mini escape at home.
Tips:- Use fresh medium or coarse ground coffee for best results.
- You can store cold brew in the fridge for 2–3 days.
- Try oat or almond milk instead of coconut for a twist.
Be well and live deliciously!
